Winter has set in, the garden is in hibernation so for this meal, we’re focussing solely on meat, dairy and mushrooms. Enhanced with savoury glazes and sauces from our pantry, matured over years.

This is about the warmth of a wood fire and gathering inside our cosy dining room, around our long table for a few hours. To take your time and enjoy hearty, innovative and deeply satisfied food.

Complemented by a complimentary soft drinks pairing with the option to switch to a one-off wine pairing selected by Martin.

The Menu

Deer burger, milk bun, Darling Blue cheese.

Smoked and glazed pork meatball.

Lion’s mane mushroom cooked in pork fat.

Pork, trompette mushroom and whey broth.

Duck breast and sausage, chanterelle mushrooms, yoghurt, caramelised butter jus.

Honey and rosemary creme brule, pork crackling top

The Drinks

Seeing as many of our guests will be driving to get to us, we want drivers and passengers to take the same enjoyment from the evening.

This means that included with your ticket will be several different non-alcoholic beverages. Foraged in season. Fermented over time. Watched, adjusted, left to develop.

Alternatively, there's the option of a pairing of four beautiful wines. Selected by Martin to make this afternoon even more special. Each made by makers who share our values.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, the pairing can be selected via a button at the top of the page.

The Details

Please arrive for the meal between 2pm-2.15pm.

For parking, follow directions for Brinkburn Priory. Take the turn-off the main road beside the row of cottages. You will see a sign saying, “Event Parking” leading you to a car park about 70 metres from the main road. Do not go all the way to the priory parking at the end of the road.

After you park. Walk back towards the cottages and through a small gate towards the courtyard garden. Look for the arched building where we will be there to greet you.
