A meal that celebrates the last of the year’s growing season and everything we’ve preserved along the way.
Our pantry is full of our favourite ingredients which we’ve cured, pickled, confited, fermented and smoked so we can enjoy them until the spring. But autumn hasn’t set in properly yet. We’ll be taking full advantage of the last of the season’s produce from our estate and our suppliers.
Come enjoy the last of the warm, sunny weather in our courtyard before taking your seat at our long barn table for a relaxed afternoon meal that took us all year to prepare.
The Menu
Barbecued corn tart, cheese rind tamari and preserved wild garlic
The last tomatoes and herbs, crispy bread, tomato and rhubarb chutney and fermented tomato sauce
Smoked pork shoulder confit in charcuterie fat, courgettes cooked with lovage and hops, gooseberry condiment
Walnut tamari sauce
Preserved summer fruits.
Rose honey, the last of the sweet herbs, cultured cream, Dried flowers, lemon thyme oil
The Drinks
Seeing as many of our guests will be driving to get to us, we want drivers and passengers to take the same enjoyment from the evening.
This means that included with your ticket will be several different non-alcoholic beverages. Foraged in season. Fermented over time. Watched, adjusted, left to develop.
Alternatively, there's the option of a pairing of four beautiful wines. Selected by Martin to make this afternoon even more special. Each made by makers who share our values.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, the pairing can be selected via a button at the top of the page.
